Are you looking for an after school club with a difference?
Never before has there been such a great opportunity for children to learn British Sign Language.
This after school club will be fun as well as informative. The sessions are structured with formal learning and written activities and playing games. The children will be learning new signs, how to have basic conversations and also how to use the language correctly.
Most importantly and in line with SignWise Tuition’s key aims, they will also learn about deafness, Deaf awareness and how to be more inclusive in the hope that the lives of Deaf children and adults are positively impacted.
We have also helped children complete the ‘skills’ section of their Duke of Edinburgh award, as on the Programme Ideas page, learning to communicate with someone with a hearing impediment is listed as a valid skill.
Time – 4.30pm – 5.30pm
